Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad was celebrated with religious fervour and due reverence in various parts of the country today.”Milad Mehfils” and “Seerat Conferences” were held where Ulemas or religious scholars highlighted the life and teachings of Prophet.

Milad processions were also organised to mark the occasion.

In the National Capital, the main procession was taken out in central   Delhi, which culminated at Jama Masjid.
