In Bihar, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting raids on several locations of IAS officer Sanjeev Hans at Patna in connection with disproportionate assets and corruption cases. Hans, former secretary of the Energy Department, Bihar and his several associates are accused in money laundering, corruption cases and corruption in finalizing of tenders. Sources said huge cache of money, incriminating documents have been seized from the location of a senior engineer of the Building Construction Department (BCD) at Anisabad in Patna. Searches are being conducted on the locations of several government officers and engineers with allegations of bribery cases also.
