Earthquake tremors were felt in the Nanded, Hingoli, and Parbhani districts of Maharashtra this morning. The tremors felt around 7.15 AM. The epicentre was located in Rameshwar Tanda village, Kalamnuri taluka, Hingoli district. The earthquake registered a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale. The district administration has appealed to citizens not to panic, confirming that no damage has been reported. The tower (Minar) of the historic fort at Peth Vadgaon in Hingoli district collapsed due to the tremors today. Earthquake tremors were also felt in this area on March 21st.
