External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar met with Irish President Michael D. Higgins yesterday and conveyed President Droupadi Murmu’s regards to him. In a social media post, Mr Jaishankar shared that during their meeting, they discussed the role of culture in strengthening ties between India and Ireland. Dr Jaishankar also visited some top leaders of Ireland and appreciated their warm sentiments and steadfast support for strengthening ties between the two nations. The External Affairs Minister also visited the General Post Office Museum and Old Library at the Trinity College in Dublin.
