Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai today said that due to resolute action taken by the NDA government the Left Wing Extremism has been controlled very effectively. He praised the role of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and other Central Armed Police Forces in the fight against Left Wing Extremism.
 
Mr. Rai was addressing a function of the Central Armed Police Force, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) at Patna. He performed the Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of a new office building, administrative block and residential premises of SSB Frontier Headquarters at Patna. The complex will be a full-fledged centre of SSB, Patna spread over 2.5 acre land. The Director General of SSB, Rashmi Shukla, was also present at the ceremony.
