Domestic benchmark equity indices bounced back in early trade today after facing heavy correction in the last two trading days, amid massive buying by domestic institutional investors and a rally in frontline stocks. The BSE Sensex climbed 255 points to 77,945 in early trade. The NSE Nifty went up by 86 points to 23,645. The BSE benchmark had tanked 1,805 points or 2.27 per cent in the past two days. The rupee slipped 1 paisa to an all-time low of 84.40 against the US dollar in early trade today.
