In Maharashtra, eight workers including two women were killed and 60 others injured in a blast at the Dombivli MIDC area in Thane district this afternoon.  Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced financial aid of five lakh rupees for the victims of the Dombivli blast. He also stated that the state government will cover the cost of treatment for the injured and that a case of culpable homicide will be registered in connection with the incident.
