DMK Parliamentary party began in Chennai a short while ago. The party led by its Chief M.K. Stalin has won all the 39 constituencies in Tamilnadu along with its alliance partners. DMK alone has 21 MPs. The elected members of Parliament gathered at the DMK Headquarters Anna Arivalayam on Saturday evening to elect the leader of the Parliamentary Party. The party thanked the people of Tamilnadu for electing the DMK-led alliance and assured that in Parliament, they would continue to strive for the welfare of the State. The resolution demanded that the statues of Mahatma Gandhi and Ambedkar be reinstalled in Parliament campus.
