The District Administration has started collecting information on the damage caused by the earthquake that hit the district at 4.14 this morning in Bajura of Sudurpaschim province of Nepal. Due to an earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale and with its epicentre at Gotri, Jagannath Rural Municipality, which did not result in human casualties, the locals’ houses have developed general cracks.
Till now, no loss of life has been reported and the collection of the physical damage is ongoing as the epicentre of the earthquake lies in a remote area, and it takes time to travel there. one house at Budhinanda Municipality-4 has collapsed, and three children have been rescued unharmed.
