Director General of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) Dr N Kalaiselvi has underscored the need of setting up Technology Scale up Corridors in a big way to ensure sustainable support for startups in the country. Stating that it is necessary for India to become developed nation in the coming years, the Director General said the CSIR is proposing to set up as many as such corridors to support the startups on sustainable manner the make the technology ready for taking to masses.
Inaugurating the first "One week- One lab" initiative at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology(CCMB) this morning, the director general said all the labs under the CSIR should work in hand in hand and all stakeholders like students and industry should visit the laboratories in Hyderabad. The laboratories showcased their research on the occasion.
