Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today called upon Indian youth to indigenously develop high-end technologies that the country currently imports, to realize the vision of Viksit Bharat. He was addressing the 65th Foundation Day celebrations at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur today.

The Defence Minister highlighted technology as the key driver of rapid changes across various fields, with countries vying to master niche areas like Artificial Intelligence for geopolitical advantage. Mr. Rajnath Singh emphasized that the nation is advancing toward a leadership position in technology. He urged young minds to realize their potential and contribute to national progress, calling institutions like IIT Kanpur vital engines of academic dynamism that can help elevate India among the leading countries.
