The air quality in the National Capital Delhi, is in the poor category, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 215 as of 7 this morning. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, AQI in some areas of the city breached the 300 levels.
The AQI at Delhi’s Shadipur station was recorded at 304, Jahanagirpuri at 284, Mundka at 283, R K Puram at 276, Wazirpur at 262, Dwarka sector 8 at 255 and Bawana recorded an AQI of 247.
The India Meteorological Department has forecast that Delhi-NCR are likely to experience moderate fog during the morning hours and shallow fog in the night hours over the next two days.
