Four people died today after a fire broke out at a house in the Prem Nagar area of Delhi. According to the Delhi Fire Service, the devastating fire broke out at 3:30 AM and lasted for more than an hour until 4:45 AM. Two fire tenders reached the spot and controlled the fire. The Fire Service said that the deceased inhaled smoke from the fire and were admitted to a hospital, where they were declared dead.
A fire also broke out in the national capital at the Old Emergency Building in Safdarganj Hospital this morning. The Delhi Fire Service said that the fire lasted for around one hour, from 10:40 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eight fire tenders were sent to extinguish the fire. The Fire Service said that the fire broke out in the storeroom of the hospital and also affected the animal bite vaccine room. No lives were lost during the fire.
