Delhi Police has decided to set up a virtual help desk which will provide the details regarding the traffic movement during the G20 Summit in New Delhi.
Addressing a press briefing in New Delhi today, Special Commissioner of Police Traffic, SS Yadav said, the virtual help desk will provide information to the users who are visiting Delhi as delegates and as a tourist. He said, relevant information can be accessed by the users on MapMyIndia and Google Map Services.
Mr. Yadav said, restrictions will be imposed in New Delhi area from the night of 7th September, which will be a controlled zone. He said, only authorized and permitted vehicles will be allowed. He said, restrictions on entry of heavy commercial vehicles will be imposed in Delhi. He added that metro services in all parts of Delhi will function smoothly. He urged the people to use Metro service to visit in New Delhi area, as private vehicles will not be allowed to enter in the controlled zone.
G20 Summit under the Presidency of India is scheduled to be held in New Delhi on 9th and 10th of next month.
