The Delhi government has decided to increase the minimum wages of unskilled, semi-skilled, and skilled workers. The minimum wage of unskilled workers will be over 18 thousand rupees per month, semi-skilled workers will be 19 thousand 929 rupees and skilled workers will be 21 thousand 917 rupees per month. Addressing a press conference, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi claimed that the minimum wage in Delhi is the highest compared to any other state in the country. She said the new wage rates will be applicable from the 1st of October.
