Delhi government has launched a large-scale campaign to control air pollution and improve the air quality in the national capital. This campaign includes making the entire Ring Road dust-free, planting trees along roads and dividers and reducing traffic congestion. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stated that the government has begun implementing strict and effective measures to tackle Delhi’s air pollution. After reviewing various solutions, she directed all concerned departments to take immediate action in this regard. Mrs Gupta added that making Delhi clean and pollution-free is the top priority of the government. The government is also working closely with the central government, various agencies, and the general public to implement concrete pollution control measures.
