Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal writes to Amit Shah on water level of Yamuna River; requests people to evacuate

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today said the water level of Yamuna River in the national capital has reached 207.71 metres which is the highest ever, following rain and water entering from Himachal Pradesh and Haryana.

Briefing media this afternoon, he said that he has written a letter to Home Minister Amit Shah regarding this. He requested people living in the low-lying areas to vacate their homes. The Chief Minister added that there are several places affected by the rise in the level of water in Yamuna River.
