Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has welcomed the recommendation of Delhi’s Lt. Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena for a National Investigation Agency (NIA) inquiry into Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal allegedly receiving political funding from banned organisation Sikhs for Justice. Mr. Sachdeva alleged that Delhi CM’s silent support to these banned organisations is well known. He added, Mr. Kejriwal stayed at the residence of a  Khalistan Liberation Force-KLF extremist leader Gurwinder Singh during the Punjab assembly election campaign in 2017.

Meanwhile, Delhi Government Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that this is a complete misuse of the constitution. He added Delhi LG is trying to make headlines during Election season because a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) demanding high-level investigation in the same matter was dismissed by the High Court two years back.
