Several prominent candidates of BJP, Aam Aadmi Party and Congress today filed their nominations for Delhi assembly polls. A total of 194 nominations were filed on the fourth day of nomination today. The nomination process will continue till Friday.
Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal and BJP Leader Parvesh Verma filed their nomination papers from the New Delhi Assembly constituency. Former Delhi BJP Chief, Satish Upadhyay filed his nomination from Malaviya Nagar seat. BJP candidate Ramesh Bidhuri also filed his nomination from the Kalkaji assembly constituency against the Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and Alka Lamba of Congress. Meanwhile, candidates of BJP, AAP, Congress and others are reaching out to people in their area to seek their support.
Meanwhile the BJP today announced the list of Star Campaigners for Delhi Assembly polls. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Amt Shah, BJP President J P Nadda, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adiyanath and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis are among the leaders included in the list of star campaigners. The polling for the 70-member Delhi assembly will take place on the 5th of next month and counting will be held on 8th of February.
