BJP has promised 50 thousand government jobs for the Delhi youth if voted to power. Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah today released the third and last part of the party’s manifesto, Viksit Delhi Sankalp Patra, for the upcoming Delhi assembly polls in New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Shah announced that if BJP forms a government in the national capital, life insurance of 10 lakh rupees and accidental insurance of 5 lakh rupees will be provided to the gig workers of the city. He promised that they would develop an integrated public transport network with an investment of 20 thousand crore rupees. The Minister added that Delhi will become a hundred percent e-bus city.
Mr Shah said that the Mahabharat Corridor will be constructed with the cooperation of the Haryana and Uttar Pradesh governments to promote tourism. He also said that in line with the Sabarmati River Front, the Yamuna River Front will be constructed in the city.
Reacting to BJP’s manifesto, Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia said that the BJP’s manifesto is an election gimmick and just a copy of the work which the Aam Aadmi Party government has done already in the city. He said the BJP’s manifesto shows that it has already accepted its defeat in the polls.
