DARPG releases Monthly Report on CPGRAMS

The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) has released the 34th Monthly Report on Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) of Central Ministries and Departments performance for the month of February. 
 
Nearly one lakh 12 thousand grievances were redressed by central ministries and departments in February this year, with average grievance disposal time taken of 15 days. 
 
The report states that the Department of Food and Public Distribution, Telecommunications, and Posts topped the Group ‘A’ category in the rankings, while the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Ayush, and the Department of Land Resources topped the Group ‘B’ category. 
 
Around 48 thousand new users registered last month, with maximum registrations from Uttar Pradesh. The report provides a detailed analysis of types and categories of public grievances and the nature of disposal.
 
The department also released the 31st report of CPGRAMS for states and union territories for the month of February. The department added that more than 52 thousand cases were received, and over 50 thousand grievances were redressed by the states and UTs last month.
