In Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha yesterday attended the celebration of ‘Himachal Diwas,’ hosted by Raj Bhawan in Jammu. Our Correspondent reports that security personnel, students and the people of Himachal Pradesh living in J&K were the special invitees for the evening. The LG extended his felicitations and best wishes to the people of Himachal Pradesh on the occasion. The LG emphasised the need to increase the Cultural exchanges between the States and Union Territories. He said cultural exchanges between the States and UTS under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat could also spur economic benefits. On the occasion, the LG released an Activity Calendar of the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages.
