Oil prices declined on Monday (8^th April 2024) as West Asia tensions eased after Israel withdrew more soldiers from southern Gaza and committed to fresh talks on a potential ceasefire in the six-month conflict.

The Brent crude oil futures was down at 90 dollar and 47 cents whereas Western Texas Intermediate was also lower at 86 dollar and 25 cents when reports last came in.
