Cricket: India to Resume Day 4 with Centurion Nitish Reddy & Mohammad Siraj at Crease

In Cricket, India will resume their innings on Day 4 of the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Melbourne Cricket Ground tomorrow, with centurion Nitish Reddy and Mohammad Siraj at the crease.

 

The visitors remain 116 runs behind Australia’s first-innings total of 474. India were 358 for 9 at stumps on Day 3, with play ending early due to bad light. Reddy, who scored his maiden Test century, remained unbeaten on 105, while Siraj was on 2. Earlier in the day, India had resumed their first innings at 164 for 5. Washington Sundar contributed significantly, scoring his fourth Test half-century to stabilize the innings before departing for 50. Australia were bowled out for 474 on Day 2, setting a formidable target for India to match. The five-match series is currently tied at 1-1.
