A platform for creative expression and innovation, the Create in India Challenge (CIC) – Season 1 is gathering momentum ahead of the World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES). In a statement, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting informed that the CIC has surpassed ten thousand registrations across the country so far.
The Ministry said the challenge is aimed at having a profound impact on India’s Creators’ Economy. It said that CIC is empowering content creators, and innovators to showcase their talents, monetize their skills, and contribute to the growth of the Indian media and entertainment industry. The Ministry added that the challenge enhances the country’s soft power globally and serves as a launch pad for India’s emerging creative talent propelling them towards global recognition.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting also informed that it is planning an extensive outreach campaign. This includes social media collaborations, domestic roadshows and international roadshows in the United States, South Korea, and Japan. Registrations for all the challenges are open on the WAVES official website.
WAVES, scheduled in February next year, will be a key forum for promoting discussions, collaboration, and innovation in the media and entertainment industry. The event will bring together industry leaders, stakeholders, and innovators to discuss prospects, and challenges, promote trade to India, and influence the sector’s future.
