Congress and Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) have announced their second lists, comprising 23 and 15 candidates respectively.
The Congress has fielded former Maharashtra minister Vasant Purke from Ralegaon, Anuja Kedar from Savner, Dilip Bansod from Arjuni-Morgaon, Kailas Gorantyal from Jalna and Ganesh Yadav from Sion-Koliwada among others.
The Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) has nominated Anil Gote from Dhule, Rupali Patil from Hingoli, Ajay Chaudhary from Shivdi and Manoj Jamsutkar from Byculla, among others.
The deadline to file nominations for the Maharashtra assembly elections is 29th of October. Polling is scheduled for 20th of November and counting is set to take place on 23rd of November.
Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party’s National President JP Nadda has appointed former MP Ravindra Kumar Rai as the working president of the party’s Jharkhand unit.
