In Jammu and Kashmir, the Congress party has scheduled a meeting of its legislature party on March 2 in Jammu ahead of the budget session of the J&K Assembly. In a letter, the party’s chief whip and MLA Bandipora, Nizamuddin Bhat, invited all MLAs to attend the meeting on Sunday at the party headquarters in Jammu. The National Conference has also scheduled its legislature party meeting around the same time at the Chief Minister’s official residence on Wazarat Road, Jammu. Meanwhile, Congress leadership said that they have not been officially informed by the National Conference about any joint meeting of legislators of the ruling alliance.
