Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi alleges permission was not given to speak on Mahakumbh

Senior Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, today said that the Leader of the Opposition should be allowed to speak in accordance with the democratic structure. Talking to the media outside Parliament, Mr Gandhi alleged that he was not permitted to speak on the Mahakumbh. He said the Prime Minister should also address the issue of employment.
Meanwhile, BJP MP and party spokesperson Sambit Patra said that today, the Prime Minister gave his statement on the Mahakumbh in Parliament, which was heard by everyone. However, he expressed disappointment that Mr. Rahul Gandhi, Ms Priyanka Gandhi, and the constituent parties of the I.N.D.I.A. block do not appreciate anything that highlights India’s progress. He said the Congress Party criticized when G20 was organised in India and even commented on the Indian cricket team captain when India won a match. He further stated that the House functions according to rules and laws, and the Speaker reminded Mr. Gandhi of this.
