The Indian National Congress has appointed the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee and the Mumbai Regional Congress Committee to negotiate with the Maha Vikas Aghadi partners regarding seat sharing for the upcoming state assembly elections.

The Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee consists of seven members, including Maharashtra Congress leaders Nana Patole, Balasaheb Thorat, Vijay Wadettiwar, Prithviraj Chavan, Nitin Raut, Arif Naseem Khan, and Satej Patil. The Mumbai Regional Congress Committee has been appointed with three members: Varsha Gaikwad, Ashok Jagtap, and Aslam Shaikh.
