Amid reports of a tussle in the Grand Alliance in Bihar over seat sharing agreements for the Lok Sabha polls, Congress and RJD leaders are holding a meeting in New Delhi. Congress General Secretaries K C Venugopal and Mukul Wasnik and RJD leader and former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav are present in the meeting. The constituents of the opposition alliance in the state are yet to finalize the seat-sharing agreement for the ensuing Lok Sabha polls. However, RJD has already announced the name of candidates for the first phase of polling.
On the other hand, the BJP has announced the names of all 17 candidates while JD(U) has declared all 16 candidates under the alliance for the polls. LJP(R) will contest on five seats under the NDA alliance.
