The Ministry of Coal has invited comments and feedback from the public on the draft amendments proposed in the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Amendment Bill, 2024 as part of its public consultation exercise. The Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Amendment Bill, 2024, along with a statement tabulating the existing provisions proposed to be amended and the corresponding proposed amendments, has been uploaded on the Ministry’s website (coal.nic.in).
