Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde today visited the site of the fire accident in Mumbai’s Chembur area and declared a compensation of 5 lakh rupees for the families of the victims. CM said the government would also provide free treatment to the two persons injured in the incident.
Seven members of a family, including three minors, were killed in a fire incident today when a shop on the ground floor of a two-story building caught fire due to faulty electrical wiring.
Expressing shock and grief over the incident, CM said the cause of the accident would be properly investigated by the administration and necessary steps would be taken to avert such incidents in the future.
