A delegation from Confederation of Indian Industries and Vivekananda International Foundation met Governor of the Northern Province Mrs. PSM Charles today in Jaffna. Mrs. Charles highlighted the role of Indian investments to aid Sri Lanka's economic recovery.

The visit of the delegation is directed at exploring investments across multiple sectors in Sri Lanka's Northern Province. The discussions centred around investments in sectors like Energy, Logistics, IT, Tourism, and Agriculture. The delegation is also set to meet businessmen from Northern Province, while also visiting relevant investment sites during their 3-day visit. The meeting was arranged by the Consulate General of India in Jaffna.
