The Chief Electoral Office in Karnataka is making efforts to improve the voters turnout in the Second Phase of Lok Sabha election for which the notification was issued today. It is approaching voters through Electoral Literacy clubs by going to colleges and approaching the Resident Welfare Association or holding rallies and road shows. The Additional Chief Electoral Officer in Karnataka M Kurma Rao has spoken exclusively to Akashvani News in Bengaluru on the efforts being made to improve the voters turnout in the polling booths that recorded below average turnout in the 2019 Lok Sabha election.
