In Chhattisgarh, three Maoists were killed in an encounter with security forces. The exchange of fire took place near Dolliguda jungles in Usoor area of Bijapur district. This area is near Chhattisgarh- Telangana inter-State border.

After the encounter, security personnel recovered bodies of three male Maoists along with one Light machine gun, one AK 47 rifle and huge quantity of arms and ammunition from the spot.
