In Chhattisgarh, security forces have arrested 16 Maoists from different places of the Bijapur district.

 

Of these, 11 Maoists have been arrested from the Gorna Padiyarpara area under the Bijapur police station area, while, five Maoists have been arrested from the Bhusapur area under the Usur police station area.

 

Police claimed that the arrested Maoists were involved in cases of IED blasts and the digging up of roads to prevent the movement of security forces in the area.
