In Chhattisgarh, the 77th Independence Day is being celebrated with enthusiasm and gaiety. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel hoisted the tricolour at the main function held in the capital, Raipur.

Addressing the function, he said in order to maintain the safety, respect, and dignity of women in the state, his government is going to take a decision that those accused of molestation and rape of girls and women will be banned from government jobs.
