Out of them, nominations of 27 were accepted.  He said that among 27 candidates, 5 candidates hail from National parties, 17 are Independent candidates, and 5 from registered unrecognised parties, reflecting the plurality of voices in our democratic process.

Notably, the participation of women in the electoral process is limited, with two candidates, Ritu Singh of BSP and Rajinder Kaur of Sainik Samaj Party, demonstrating gender representation in politics.
