Union Minister of State for Education and DoNER Dr Sukanta Majumdar today urged the Meghalaya Government to expedite 10 delayed projects under the North Eastern Council (NEC). The Minister today reviewed the different projects under NEC and the Ministry of DoNER in the state. Informing that Meghalaya will release its Vision Document 2047 in March, he said that soon the North-East will become the power centre of the country. He also stressed on need for the development of connectivity in the region and lauded the huge potential of Meghalaya in the tourism sector.
