The Centre has assured all possible assistance to the Bihar government to tackle the flood crisis. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai today reviewed the flood situation in Bihar at Patna.

Mr. Rai said 11 teams of NDRF have been deployed in different parts of the state, and eight teams are kept in reserve.

He said the Centre is in constant touch with Bihar authorities. The Union Minister said, as per the situation required, the Air Force will help in the airlifting of flood victims and the airdropping of relief materials.
