Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Singh Thakur has informed that four agencies were empanelled by the ministry for wider dissemination and enhance citizen engagement in respect of information related to various schemes and initiatives of Government of India. In his written reply in Lok Sabha during the Question hour on Tuesday, he said that the Ministry of Electronic and Information Technology had undertaken a process for empanelment of influencer marketing agencies in March this year through MyGov. He further said that the Central Bureau of Communication under the ministry has transparent Policy guidelines for the empanelment of media and publicity agencies. The transparent policy guidelines are also followed towards release of advertisements and other promotions on media platforms, including digital and social media sites.
