In Jammu & Kashmir, the ceasefire violation by Pakistan across multiple locations along the Line of Control (LoC), has been reported in Kashmir region last night. This unprovoked violation was responded appropriately by the Indian forces.

Sources said, exchange of gunfire remained limited. There are no reports of casualties on Indian side. Officials said, this is being viewed as attempts to disrupt peace along the LoC. The situation is being closely monitored by Indian forces across all forward areas.

Meanwhile, sources said that security forces from Army and other agencies are working on various aspects of the Pahalgam terror attack. This includes investigation related to terrorists, identities and numbers along with the details of tourists, ponywalas, tourist guides, etc to reach to the credible conclusion without any inconvenience of innocents.

Besides, the specific search operations are carried out across Kashmir region particularly in the south Kashmir districts to take leads with regard to ongoing investigation. This is aimed at reaching to the conclusion to track down actual perpetrators and their accomplices in executing the attack. A special team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) is already investigating the terror attack since 22nd of April.
