Chief of Defence Staff, General Anil Chauhan has expressed his belief that space will cast its influence on air, maritime, and land domains in the future. He said, space is an uncharted territory where concepts of combat are yet to evolve and mature.
Addressing the Indian Defspace Symposium in New Delhi through virtual mode today, the Chief of Defence Staff stressed that space must be used for the benefit of mankind. He said, India has proved its capabilities in space by developing several niche technologies.
Indian Defense Space Symposium which commenced today, will bring together military leadership, policymakers, scientists and industry captains to shape a roadmap for building formidable defense space capabilities. During the three day event, various sessions will be held to deliberate upon DefSpace challenges, space asset procurement, National Space Security Policy, China’s defense space capability, battlefield communication, Space Tech and lessons from Ukraine conflicts.
