In badminton, India’s Lakshya Sen will face reigning All England champion Li Shi Feng of China in the men’s singles final of the Canada Open 2023 badminton tournament in Calgary, Canada. The match will start at 12.50 AM IST on 10th July.

The reigning men’s singles Commonwealth Games champion, Lakshya, sealed his place in the final after beating Kenta Nishimoto 21-17, 21-14, in the first semifinal, while Shi Feng defeated Kodai Naraoka of Japan 21-18, 21-11, in the other last-four fixture.

Lakshya has a favourable 4-2 head-to-head record against Shi Feng. In their last meeting at the Thailand Open, Lakshya beat him 21-17, 21-15.
