In Bihar, campaigning for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections in Jamui, Nawada, Gaya and Aurangabad has reached a feverish pitch. Senior leaders and star campaigners of different political parties are holding back to back election rallies in support of their candidates.
BJP leader and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adiytanath held two public meetings in Aurangabad and Nawada in support of NDA candidates. He said PM Modi’s guarantee is a guarantee for developed India.
BJP, JD(U), Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas), Hidnustani Awam Morcha and Rashtirya Lok Morcha leaders also held public meetings in support of NDA nominees.
JD(U) President and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held a public meeting in Sheikhpura where he claimed that during the NDA regime Bihar has reached new heights of development. He said for the better future of Bihar the NDA government at the centre is necessary.
Leaders of the Grand Alliance also held several election meetings in different constituencies. RJD leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav addressed public meetings in Sherghati, Jhajha, Aurangabad and Banka. During poll campaigns Mr. Yadav alleged that instead of talking about problems of youth, unemployment, BJP is trying to play communal card in these elections.
Leaders of Congress, Left parties and Vikas Sheel Insan Party also canvassed for the Grand Alliance candidates.
