Campaigning intensifies for all Seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi; Polls on 25th May

Campaigning has intensified for all Seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi which will go to polls on 25th of this month. The city is expected to witness a bipolar contest between BJP and AAP-Congress combine. BJP is fighting on all seven seats.
 
AAP contesting on four seats and Congress on three. A total of 162 candidates are in the fray in the national capital.  

Akashvani Correspondent reports that political parties have started roping in their star campaigners in different parts of the city to garner support. Senior BJP leader and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will hold a roadshow today in West Delhi’s Matiala while another senior party leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan is scheduled to address two public meetings in North-East Delhi. AAP leader and Delhi Minister Gopal Rai will campaign in Badarpur and party leader and MP Sanjay Singh will address a public meeting in Vikaspuri. Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav and other leaders are also campaigning in different areas of the city in support of party candidates. Top leaders of Congress and BJP are expected to hit the campaign trail in Delhi in the coming days as just ten days are left for campaigning for Lok Sabha polls in the city.
