Campaigning intensifies ahead of Maharashtra assembly election

Hectic campaigning is going on in Maharashtra for the Legislative Assembly Elections and leaders of all political parties are canvassing in various districts of the state. Speaking at a rally in Sangli, NCP(SP) chief Sharad Pawar today claimed that the BJP wants to change the constitution and like-minded parties have together under the MVA umbrella to oppose this. Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackery was campaigning in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, where he hit out at the ruling NDA and Mahayuti government over the low Minimum Support Price of Soybean. He assured that the MVA would increase the MSP of Soyabean if the alliance is voted to power.

 

Union Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah will be campaigning in Hingoli, Yawatmal and Chandrapur. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is scheduled to campaign in Gadchiroli, Chandrapur and Nagpur.  BJP President J P Nadda will campaign in Thane and Nashik. BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis will campaign in Satara, Sangli and Pune.<><>
