With just 5 days left for voting in Kerala, campaigning for the 20 Lok Sabha seats in the State is in full swing. Polling is scheduled for April 26th.

Vijayadharani, BJP leader from Tamil Nadu, spoke at the Ananthapuri Women’s Conference organized in support of Thiruvananthapuram NDA candidate and Union Minister of State Rajeev Chandrashekhar today. Later, Mr Rajeev Chandrasekhar addressed the Students Conclave organized at Kowdiar Uday Palace. He emphasised the role of youth in India’s development journey as the world’s fastest-growing economic power. Former ISRO chief G Madhavan Nair, and senior BJP leader PK Krishnadas also participated in the event.

As part of the UDF campaign, AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi addressed a meeting held at Eriyad for the campaign of Chalakudy Lok Sabha constituency candidate Benny Behanan. She alleged that Government agencies meant to protect the law, have turned into unlawful extortionists in the country. Priyanka Gandhi also participated in a public meeting in Pathanamthitta for UDF candidate Anto Antony. In the evening, Priyanka is scheduled to take part in a roadshow and public meeting for Congress candidate Shashi Tharoor in Thiruvananthapuram.

CPIM Politburo member Brinda Karat was active in various campaign events in Thrissur today in support of LDF. CPI National General Secretary D. Raja will participate in a public meeting at Mananthavadi to boost the campaign for LDF Wayanad constituency candidate Ani Raja.
