Campaigning for 4th phase of Lok Sabha Elections ends on 13 seats of Lok Sabha in UP

Campaigning for the fourth phase of Lok Sabha Elections ended on the13 seats of Lok Sabha in UP on Saturday evening. All parties have now intensified their campaigning for the next phase of elections in the state.

 

Aakashwani correspondent reports that, the 13 seats which will go for poll on 13 May are Shahjahanpur, Kheri, Dharuhara, Sitapur, Hardoi, Misrikh, Unnao, Farrukhabad, Etawah, Kannauj, Kanpur, Akbarpur, Bahraich. Campaigning ended on the seats this evening. In the 2019 Loksabha elections, BJP had waved its flag on all of these 13 seats. On nine out of these 13 seats, the ruling party won by a substantial margin.

 

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav is contesting from Kannauj leading to a tough challenge for BJP to repeat its last performance. Apart from that, many star campaigners of different political parties campaigned for their party candidates today. Senior BJP leader and Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed a meeting of party workers in Varanasi today. Mr. Shah & CM Yogi also reviewed the preparations of PM Modi’s road show in Varanasi.

 

Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati addressed a public meeting in Shravasti. The BSP leader appealed to the people not to get influenced by the free ration being distributed by the central government.
