Cabinet approves ๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ฐ๐š๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญs, Revision of Livestock Health and Disease Control Programme

The government has approved the development of the Sonprayag to Kedarnath ropeway with a length of 12.9 kilometres. Briefing media in New Delhi today, Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said, the total cost of the project will be over four thousand crore rupees. He said this ropeway will reduce the journey time from 8 to 9 hours to 36 minutes for the pilgrims. He said the project will help the divyang and old people in an immense way.

The Minister also informed that Hemkund Sahib Ropeway will also be developed. He said the total cost of the project will be two thousand 730 crore rupees. He said the length of the ropeway will be 12.4 kilometres.

Mr. Vaishnaw said the government has taken decisions for livestock health and disease prevention with the cost of three thousand 880 crore rupees. He said the vaccination programme will be a major thrust area of this programme. He said, this will help the farmers. He said, good quality and affordable generic veterinary medicine will be provided through Pashu Aushadhi.
